Choose Your Next Wave

Life, like this wave, can be both thrilling and terrifying.

And we don’t always know how it’ll unfold - only that we’ve got to keep riding it.

I took this photo just after sunrise down at the Jersey Shore.

It’s become a tradition of mine to visit the ocean, or some body of water, every year on my birthday. There’s something about standing at the edge of all that power and possibility that feels like the perfect way to start a new year of life.

Watching this surfer disappear into the curl of the wave, I was reminded how life invites us to lean in - even when it’s uncertain.

Because chasing what matters, doesn’t come with guarantees. It comes with motion and momentum. And the courage to keep going even when you’re not sure how it’ll turn out.

Some moments will feel like wipeouts. Others like perfect rides. But all of it shapes us.

So here’s your reminder (and mine):

- Keep riding the wave.

- Keep showing up.

- Take the risk.

- Start the year (or the day) with intention.
